I'm standing in the middle of Hall 10 at Koelnmesse, surrounded by the pulse of a world that has just broken every record. This year's FIBO 2026 isn't just about numbers - though more than 150,000 visitors from around the globe is impressive in itself. For me, it's the moment when a dream of harmony met reality on the largest possible scale.
As a physiotherapist and Pilates instructor, I've always searched for something more in movement than just mechanics. I was searching for stillness. When I began designing my first reformer, I was driven by one almost selfish goal: I simply wanted something beautiful in my own home. Something that wouldn't look like a gym machine, but would become part of my sanctuary. I never expected that this need for aesthetics and professional functionality would lead me to where I am today.
Our booth became an oasis amid the clamor of ten enormous halls. White, beige, and the natural wood of Wood Motion created a space that - as visitors whispered - was "the most beautiful thing they had seen at the fair." I heard the words "a revolution in the world of Pilates" dozens of times this weekend.
Watching people run their hands over the smooth wood of our reformer, I felt a deep sense of pride. They called it a work of art. And truly - this design, stripped of anything unnecessary and pure in its form, has become a manifesto of my philosophy: peace is the new luxury.
Not just movement - design, too
The recognition - far beyond my wildest expectations - also went to our details:
The sculpted chair, which proved that exercise equipment can be a piece of interior jewelry.
The weight shaped like a handbag - our small tribute to femininity and elegance, which became an absolute hit among influencers and aesthetes.
The world is knocking at our door
Saturday's Exhibitor Party was a moment of reflection. Talking with people from the industry, I understood that Wood Motion has stopped being just my vision and become a global desire. Right now, our team is working at full speed, preparing dedicated offers for some of the most prestigious locations in the world.
Our dream map is materializing through inquiries from:
Europe: Paris, Cannes, Monaco, Marbella, Barcelona, Alicante.
The Middle East and Africa: Dubai, Lagos.
Exotic destinations: Bali, Cancun.
Australia: Sydney.
USA: Beverly Hills
Premium hotels, the largest Pilates studios, and global distributors want to bring into their spaces the same stillness and quality that I once wanted to invite into my own living room.
Reflections from Cologne
FIBO 2026 is coming to an end, but for Wood Motion this is only the beginning of the journey. I'm returning to Poland with a heart full of gratitude and a deep conviction that caring for oneself - for body, mind, and surroundings - is the only path to true well-being.
We've created something more than a fitness brand. We've created a new language of luxury, one that speaks of reducing stress and celebrating beauty in its purest form. It was an unforgettable edition, and I feel that our craftsmanship and passion have just earned their global wings.
With love for movement and design,
Nicole,
Founder of Wood Motion
